About Us
The Association was found in the year 1984 only with 20-25 retirees. This was due to the efforts of Sarv Shri P.N.Chugh, K.K.Berri , O.P.Mahajen, K.D.Kumaria, P.D.Batta, A.K. Oswal.
Registered under societies act in the name of State Bank of India Pensioners' Association having its registered office at Chandigarh. Sarv Shr Manmohan Singh, N.S.Dhamoon (not with us) started building the association from mid 90es all over the circle and its started growing. The spouses of the pensioners are associate members.
Shri N.S.Dhamoon veteral Trade Union Leader and Shri J.R.Gupta served the organisation as General Sec. and President since 2006.
After the sad demise of Shri N.S.Dhamoon in april 2012, Shri J.R.Gupta took over as Gen. Sec. and Shri K.K.Puri and other Colleague committed to this cause took over as president.
The executive committee has a term of 3 years.
